Welcome to the website of the
London Centre for Psychotherapy

The London Centre for Psychotherapy was founded in 1973 as a professional association of psychoanalytic psychotherapists. It currently has around 200 members working in London, the rest of the UK and abroad. It is a member institution of the British Psychoanalytic Council and a registered charity (no. 267244).

The British Association of Psychotherapists, the Lincoln Clinic and Centre for Psychotherapy and the London Centre for Psychotherapy are merging at the end of March 2013 to form the British Psychotherapy Foundation, which will be a strong professional organisation, providing access to treatment for the public, comprehensive support to our members and education and training to the next generation of psychotherapists.
